The Unhas Chancellor together with all his staff visited the stand of the Unhas IBT-STP Directorate during Unhas Week.
Hasanuddin University held an Unhas Week event at Gor JK Arena, Unhas Tamalanre Campus, Sunday (17/12).
Unhas week is an activity that displays innovative Unhas products and Unhas-owned business entities. As we know, Unhas has formed a commercial business entity which aims to build Unhas’ independence as a PTN-BH since the leadership of Prof Jamaluddin Jompa. The presence of this business entity owned by Unhas is expected to be another source of income besides single tuition fees (UKT).
Director of Business Development and Asset Utilization (PUPA) Unhas, Dr.Ir. Syahradi Kadir, M.Si, said that currently there are two Unhas companies that have been initiated by him, namely PT Hadin Metavisi Akademika and PT Innovation Benua Maritim.
Apart from PT Hadin and PT Innovation Benua Maritim and their subsidiaries, also present were the PUPA Directorate, IBT-STP Directorate, Innovation & Intellectual Property Directorate, Unhas TV and JJ Corn Farming.
At Unhas Week 2023, the IBT-STP Directorate exhibited “Gollata” downstream products, start-up products built by incubators such as “Qindo” chocolate powder, printing services, Leafyco Soap, and Zero chips. Don’t forget Chips D’Mataran, original Dangke crackers from Enrekang, a start-up product fostered by the IBT-STP Unhas Incubator which won second place nationally in the YSSC 2023 competition by Bank Indonesia. And, visitors to the IBT-STP Unhas stand will receive gifts in the form of Hadin chocolate and Bambapuang Palm Sugar Coffee as sweet souvenirs to enjoy on the spot or take home to their beloved family.
On this occasion, the Chancellor of Unhas and all his staff also took the time to visit the IBT-STP stand. Apart from seeing the initialization certificate and trying the start-up products on display, the Chancellor of Unhas, Prof. Jamaluddin Jompa, also said that it would be best if all Unhas Innovation products were brought to the IBT-STP Directorate to be downstream so that these products could also be enjoyed or used by the general public.
